Description of Baofeng UV-82(5W)
Enhanced Features for Superior Performance
Experience the next level of communication with our latest offering, the Baofeng UV-82 portable radio. Building upon the success of the renowned Baofeng UV-5R, this upgraded version delivers enhanced features that set it apart from the rest. With an impressive output power of 8W and a high-capacity 2800mAh battery, you can enjoy extended periods of uninterrupted communication. The standout innovation lies in the double PTT button, allowing seamless signal transmission on any of the two selected active frequencies. Stay connected like never before with ...
- Price for a good build. plus a double PTT rocker for some. Not a bonus in my opinion.
- Overestimated battery readings on the battery itself, as usual; actual measurements are between 1700 and 1800 mAh. Despite having a "empty" PSU and memory, it nevertheless manages to function. The question is that long. missing button for the frequency/channel switch
- The radios are of the highest quality and function perfectly. About three kilometers is considered to be the range of their coverage. The battery life is sufficient for two days, it is simple to use and configure, and the case is made of metal.
- Didn't find
- Norm Radelka, in addition to taking 888s, took.
- Price, protection against wetness, comfort, and the inclusion of both a torch and a radio.
- Poor battery life and limited travel distance
- A radio with a low price and a large range.
- Prohibited from operation within the borders of the 2022, meaning that anybody who uses it is in violation of the Federal Law "On Communications."
- Price, additional features that are implemented on the spot rather than through a computer (like in cheap voki-toki), a loud signal about the conclusion of the transmission (Roger), and so on and so forth.
- The feature is not adequately implemented, there is no instruction, and the instruction that can be found on the internet is written in a way that is difficult to understand. The dimensions as well as the batteries.
- Acquired as a replacement for the original Kenwood TK-F8. Akum did not exhibit any whims despite being exposed to the cold for a period of two hours; in dense urban growth with varying topography over a distance of 1.5 kilometers, reception and transmission remain assured. This is not a poor indicator at all. Under these conditions, two Kenwood TK-F8 radios could only show +200 meters of range. My Kenwood only spits for 5 kilometers into the forest, despite the fact that it should hit consistently for that distance. The sound is extremely sharp, unmistakable, and robust.
- I haven't been able to locate anything just yet, but I did some investigating when I was out walking the dog. Pleased with the results of the test
- price/quality - 5 the high quality of the materials - 4 the extensiveness of the communication range - 5 Quality of the Connection in Relation to Distance (City) - 4 connection quality / distance (forest) - A total of four functionalities (including the available options). - 4 equipment - 5 Battery - 4 Z / U - 4 (the radio station is fastened securely in the "glass," and the battery, separately, is also fastened securely) 2 simultaneously listening channels - 5 PTT rocker for 2 channels - 5 flashlight (not very powerful, just 3 meters, but it can be really helpful at times) - 5 the headset has a swivel and a rim for both the left and the right ear, and it is quite comfortable to use. -5 points for the acoustic clarity of the headset and the microphone - 4 VOX (occasionally useful) - 5 subtone scan - 5 channel scan - 5 antenna - 5 etc.
- protection against dust and moisture to the degree of 3 (not structurally provided). sensitivity of the microphone - 3 (when speaking straight into the microphone with 2 mm - 5) Z / U - 4 (the indicator of a fully charged battery does not work)
