Lots of oil at a great price

I just bought a battery powered chainsaw and it needs some lube. I've looked for a few different ones and this one seems to have the best reviews and value for the money. Works great and is organic so trees are not damaged or damaged when pruned. I would buy more if I need it.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Well it's butter. Very thin and goes through my Sthil MS261 like water. Cheap is good, but most of the oil ends up on the bottom of the woodshed. The real bar oil is waiting in the saw until I fire it up. When running, he also flies everywhere. I don't know what to do with things, fry something? herbicides?

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs

Does the job but is very thin

The price is right but as others have noted it is very thin. I use it on the saws I repair. /recovery is just for testing - it works great for that and keeps things running smoothly, but I wouldn't use it on any of my personal saws. For a few euros more there is branded oil that adheres better to the chain. If the weather is VERY cold, a thinner oil might help - that's the only reason I'm giving that three stars.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have opted for a newer model
