Bought this mug to replace a set of pourers we bought years ago. They looked great, super minimalist, but I was tired of having 3 double cups to do the work of one. The stepped interior makes measuring so much quicker and easier, I can't believe it took me so long to switch

I LOVE this meter. No drops. No spills. Easy to use. It's easy to see the markings inside. I read a review where someone was annoyed that they didn't have a dimension increment ID internally, but oh well. If I'm two lines down on the outside, which is 2 ounces, and two lines in, guess how many ounces that is. I bought 3.

The biggest issue I've had with this entire category is the difficulty in reading the gauge markings. Japanese style mugs are too narrow and usually the largest mug weighs only 2 ounces. Since my martini contains 2.5 ounces of gin, I have to make two servings. Also, the Japanese ones are so tight that there is a problem of shedding. Oxo has a pretty good approach, but I like this one because it's light, fast, easy to use, and holds nearly 3 ounces.

The bottom can be used for measurements but the volume is not specified and the bottom is plated like the outside. Measurement on the 2 ounce side can be misleading. Another issue (though honestly mentioned) is not dishwasher safe. My jigger accidentally went into the dishwasher and was completely ruined! For these reasons, I recommend the coated version. I will not return it because I made a mistake here, but I ordered something else.

I bought this instead of the similar looking ones because it says "Internal gauge lines marked for flexibility". It has lines due to its shape but no internal markings. You can almost see the front of the embossed outer markings, but you can only read them with a mirror. The price is overpriced and not what is advertised. I've just started working in a bar and I'm quite short. Jiggers are double sided and long. I can hardly tell if the drinking order is correct because I'm so small. First off this is a great addition to our home bar. Durable, includes measurements in ounces, metrics and teaspoons/tablespoons. The converted measurements are worth it as I try to convert everything to metric around the house. The only downside, as I suspected before receiving it, is the position of the printed measures.
