🏗️ Construction Display at Baseplates Building Brickyard Review

My boys love their new Lego table! I created it from a PDF that the seller will send you after purchasing the base boards. I chose not to connect the two pieces of organizing furniture so we can move them from room to room if needed. The base plates were very easy to cut with a utility knife and I used 16 base plates to cover this table. If you are planning to build one for yourself I recommend these organizers from Ikea, all required items are listed in the PDF seller manual.

My husband and I wanted to make a tray for our grandchildren for Christmas. We looked at cheap and high-quality base plates. The Duplo baseplate is harder to find than Lego. We came across a Dynamax 4 pack with 10X20 baseplates. We decided to buy it because of the positive reviews. They were perfect for our application. It's good to have 10" x 10" white Lego baseplates (and very expensive on the aftermarket) but it's worth noting that they are VERY THICK, like the thickness of the actual plate , not the flimsy 10" x 10" ""baseplate' so they don't match real Lego baseplates if you're trying to use them to expand an existing build. I used them for my winter show , so it wasn't a problem for me, but my only other complaint is that they're actually pretty shiny, much shinier than real Lego.

Sturdy but not quite Lego 'fit'. Lego no longer makes white coasters so after reading many reviews I chose these for my Lego winter collection. You are beautiful and strong. If you attach very small stones they will usually stay, but if you try to attach something larger, one side will get stuck and the other will pop out. They're close, but far from a perfect match. Bought these to build a large Lego table for my 7 year old grandson. I contacted Brickyard Building (the seller) to find out the best way to cut and glue the baseplates and they immediately responded with suggestions. These plates were perfect for converting my son's old table into a Lego game table. They are fully compatible with Lego bricks and very well made. I love that they have the ability to connect other pieces (plates, bricks, etc.) to the bottom of the plate while real Lego building plates don't. DynaMax skirting boards are the rare exception where the "copy" outperforms the original. Forget they fit every brand of building block you would expect (and aren't loose - these suction cups fit just right). Forget that they have cleats not only on top but also on the bottom. The most important feature is that they fit together perfectly.
