For those who say it's louder than OEM, I've experienced the same thing temporarily, not because it's faulty but because the type of case back pressure is on the device generates fans (flap outlet on the house side), a simple depth adjustment on the bracket eliminated this problem. Needed a replacement fan due to the age and condition of the original fan motor. Thought it was brown but couldn't verify any ID other than the make of the old engine. Model numbers are also not visible. In our installed photo, note the other two motor mounting holes that are further apart. We had that with the old engine shown in another photo.
