I should have known the price to keep my hands off it, did nothing but charge the batteries in my 36 volt golf cart. It does not go into trickle or float mode. Sent back for a refund.

I have a small electric truck with 3 Group 31 marine starter batteries in series. He charged them up to a good voltage. It felt a bit wormy so I left some air around it.

I like this charger. I used it three times and it worked fine. The only problem is that it gets very hot. Hot enough to be a problem, typically the charger will fail after less than a year of use if it reaches that temperature. It's just not designed for this heat. But it did charge the battery and so far it's been working fine.

Very reliable chargers. I use two 36 volt chargers a day as well as one of the 24 volt chargers. All fully charge the batteries, and fast. The 36 volt settings are 39.6 volts when they have stabilized the next morning after charging. I use a 12Ah kit and another 22Ah 36V kit and the chargers handle both sizes with no problem. I am using a 24 volt charger for a 35ah battery and it works great.

I was given an old electric lawnmower with a dead battery that was 'charged'.
