Flickers constantly

Beautiful candle. It's an LED, but a realistic amber color rather than harsh white. The dusk to dawn timer worked great as February approached and it's still flickering on the original batteries I put in in late November. For the price unbeatable.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Great wireless option

I bought a couple of these to hang in my windows at home and I love them. You can expect to change the batteries about every 3-4 months, which I personally find perfectly acceptable. I love that they turn on and off automatically so I don't have to worry about running around the house to do it myself. Also, they have a shimmering effect which I like.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Security

Good battery life Best in New Lighting

Battery lasts. Haven't changed them in a month of use. I attribute this to the twilight sensor, which works very well; Keep in mind that it's summer now, so they'll probably use more battery in winter. The orientation of the sensor is important for this function. The narrow base is practical for narrow window sills. The balance is great as they don't easily fall off when pressed.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Can't remember

They work great! best in Novelty Lighting

I bought two to accent some skylights in the home. One didn't work right away and the company immediately sent me a replacement. The light sensor that turns the light on and off works great. The "flame" is a soft yellow rather than a bright white LED and flickers naturally. It's too early to talk about battery life, but I'm hoping for at least a few months. This is a good product. I would buy again.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • So far so good

Highly recommended good for lighting and ceiling fans

I recommend this product without hesitation. I had a little problem and contacted Xodus Innovation. Solved my problem quickly and efficiently. They're a perfect size and atmosphere. My neighbors were positive and asked where I got them from and said they would buy them. They put me in the festive spirit and I will continue to use them once the Christmas decorations are gone. I am very happy with the purchase.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • There are flaws

Too dark, but otherwise works great.

We have old window candles with bulbs in the upper windows and I needed replacements for the lower ones. The LEDs seemed like a great idea and I liked the auto-twilight feature and the fact that they are battery operated. However, after putting them by the windows and waiting for dark, I was so disappointed. The candles above are BRIGHT and those flickering LEDs are barely visible. Just not the right holiday decoration for me.

Pros
  • a practical thing
Cons
  • I can't remember but there was something

Bust on/off

I have battery operated candles in all my windows. My kitchen windows have very narrow sills so I tried to find a narrow base candle and it fits perfectly. My problem is that the on/off function doesn't work. I have to turn them on and off manually and intentionally use them for the auto on/off feature. I bought 4 and only used 2. I'll try them one more night and see if the tiny hole on the spark plug sticks out, it will work as written. If not, I'll probably return the two I haven't opened…

Pros
  • nice little thing
Cons
  • almost never

It's great just expensive for what it is

First off, it's pretty much what I wanted: works as a personal night light for my 4 year old daughter to take to bed with her and so forth. (By the way, that's a great idea, parents!). The only small caveat is that it doesn't have an off switch, so it's on all the time when I think about putting it in the light, but oh well. The reason for the 4 stars is that paying $9 for something like this is crazy. I like it and everything, but it's really something you can find in a good dollar store (for…

This does not meet the standard for Christmas window candles

First it arrived without papers - just candles and nothing else. When I took one out to test, the candle did not glow as expected, although there was a faint flicker. After deciding to send it back, I marked the return address on the outside of the box. I checked this with a computer and found that the return address was a recycling center so I was wondering if the candles were recycled and not new. I had to contact Revain to find out how to return the candles, which involved printing out a…
