Good extension cord but problems with pass-through

Works well as an extension cord but pass-through does not work properly. I can't connect to scanxl via OBD cable and this causes my OBD-PLX module to malfunction when I use pass-through.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • Suitable

As described. for diagnostic, test and measurement instruments

The head connects directly to the ODBII connector and the thin cable exits the side. The cable and the second plug can be hidden in such a way that they are not noticeable at a cursory glance. I currently have a GPS tracker and the autostop/start disable module connected.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Negative impression

Great addition for PASS-Through OBD applications

Ideal for installing an OBD Tracking Key (VYNCS) This gives it a lower visible profile. You can place the tracker behind the dashboard instead of sticking it straight out of the OBD port. And allows you to still ACCESS the open MO-OBD PAGE to connect the reader without having to remove the tracker.

Pros
  • Rugged Construction
Cons
  • Requires Socket

Works well with Vyncs GPS Tracker

The material is very well made. Good for my OBDII and connected to a Vyncs GPS tracker. The cable was long enough to hide the GPS tracker. However, the mechanic used his regular OBDII code reader and had no problems. I have this in my kid's car, I go to college in 3 states. It worked well as I planned. Use this OBDII tracker and connect it like a normal OBDII tool, it needs to be handled by a mechanic. Check out the Vyncs GPS review.

Pros
  • GOLS certified

Colored cables do not match the colors of traditional OBD pins

Just a warning for those who have cut off the end of the adapter and tried to use it directly with the individual cables for an OBD radio or maestroRR or something similar to connect that. At least my wires were the wrong color. For the Maestro, you need pins 6 and 14, which are green/brown/white striped in traditional wiring. In the end it was a green and a black and white wire that worked. In this product's wiring they were in the correct order 1-16 but didn't have the correct colors so just…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Works great with code readers and scan tools

Based on some other reviews I was concerned but this works perfectly for me. I have a Waylens360 dashcam power cable plugged into the main pass-through connector and my bluetooth OBD scanner uses a wired splitter. Both elements work at the same time without any problems. I could see this splitter giving issues due to the power supply, but as far as powering a fairly high end dashcam and an always-on OBD scanner should be fine. Potential problems could arise if your car has bad wiring or is…

A decent OBD2 splitter for hiding a device that needs an OBD2 connection

Honda CR-V was stolen last week before the 4th of July holiday. While I know that Honda vehicles are the most stolen vehicles in the US, I wanted to make sure my 2018 Jeep Wrangler JLU didn't make that statistic. I had a GPS tracker connected to the OBD2 port but I couldn't do it. See the value in paying $10 a month for it after 2 years of nothing happening to my jeep. Then the Honda was stolen and I realized I had to reinstall the tracker. But I didn't want it to be clearly visible because any
