Great box, but ATTENTION: NOT AS SHOWN!

Great box, but ATTENTION: NOT AS SHOWN! I received the box and was immediately disappointed to find that it did NOT have the beveled back and flat front as pictured. The front of the box is angled and the back of the box is flat so it will NOT fit in my back seats like it should. The box itself looks well constructed and has a decent voice port and attached cables. But I was hoping for a box with a reclining backrest. The photo of the box should be taken straight on from the side to show what…

Nice box but needs tuning by installer

This is a great box for the price but it has a pretty egregious flaw which fortunately is pretty easy to fix. The box leaks very badly at all seams. You should seal the seams and end cap cutout with silicone before installing the woofer, otherwise you will have air noise and poor energy management. The soldering on the connector cup on mine could have been better. It looks like the wire moved as the solder cooled. I only re-soldered the joints, but that's another thing to watch out for…

E8SA IS NOT WHAT THE PICTURE SHOWS. But. Works great with Sundown SD3-8. Read.

So this box was just the space I needed to house the Sundown SD3-8. I didn't have the time or resources to build my own box, and didn't feel like going there So if you're planning to fit a Sundown subwoofer in this box, here's what you need to know: 1.- The cutout for the subwoofer is on the CORNER surfaces of the box. Subwoofer cutout is not 5.85 " as listed

Just received a box with two 6.5" connectors. I pulled the case out and tried to fit my Skar EVL-65s in, only to find that the cable clamps barely went through the hole (it was so tight I was afraid I would rip one of the terminal blocks off the subframe). The bumper with the magnet also squeezes tightly. All of these obstacles have been overcome and the hole is not large enough for the reported (and confirmed) EVL-65 diameter of 5.83 inches.
