I barbecue almost every night. I was really hoping that these pliers would be great. They are strong but not easy to use. I had a hard time grabbing a drumstick, steak, hot dog, etc. to flip them. The end surface is too long, flat and pointed, which makes it difficult to hold some meats well. They are also a bit heavy and clunky. Not easy to open and close. I don't recommend them.

Ehh. Tweezers are fine. They are NOT heavy duty, very flexible and difficult to grip items. Basically, I wanted them to move the charcoal trays around on my Webber grill. Was hoping for something stronger. They tend to flex when trying to get a good grip. Not a fan of sharp edges. Please be careful when you wash them. For this reason I will no longer use them in food. I don't want to cut my fingers washing my hands.

These tongs show a lot of promise but fall short on some requirements. My pliers bent when used in a fist. I smoked some pork loin halves and to finish, I wanted to give them a nice crust with my Weber Kettle. They weren't large chunks of meat, but my tongs were bent. Just as I was trying to grab the meat, the tongs bulged out just because I was grabbing the meat. They leaned sideways as they tried to turn over a small pork loin.
