The gold plating came off when I first put on the necklace I completed with this product. It also turned black. I would only wear it with clothes underneath. The color changes when it comes into contact with the skin. Dissatisfied.

I bought them to make girls chunky pearl necklaces. At first I loved her. Ordered more, just ordered 4 packs in the last week. Because girls wear necklaces, they fall. The magnets do not remain in the metal housing. A few magnets came out. Some also have torn rings or no rope hole at all. Now I have to redo all the necklaces I made which means more work and more materials as I have to buy ropes etc. Skip that, they're cheaply made.

They appear to be very strong and will even hold up to a heavier necklace and/or bracelet. I haven't used them yet, I'm still waiting for the beads I ordered for the project I had in mind. I would have preferred a rose gold tone to a yellow gold. Perhaps Beadnova will make rose gold fittings in the future.

I need to update my review. I have given a negative review before. The company recently contacted me and offered to send me another order for free. I checked every clasp, this time only one was broken. I was able to separate each fastener easily and the pieces were not glued together. It looks like the manufacturer has solved its quality control issues. I appreciate substitutions.

Magnet seems strong. But the holes at the ends are worse than I've ever used. I have been embroidering for over 15 years. I have used many different bracelet magnets. They are drilled with holes of different sizes. So some work with my wire guards, most don't. Now I'm going to use jump rings, but I wasn't planning on making bracelets for which I bought them. ps I never use bracelet magnets without a safety chain.
