When we first took it out of the box my first thought was that it should look more like a comb than my husband's beard brush. No, I was completely wrong. It makes his beard look incredible and he loves it. He was always comparing his beards to other people's beards and wished they were styled a little differently and the flat iron gave him confidence that his beard was enviable lol. Just received the product yesterday and was happy to use it today. Instructions were followed to heat it to 356 degrees in 2 minutes, then another 2 minutes to 392 degrees, and then another 2 minutes to 482 degrees. Well after 22 minutes the green light still didn't come on at 356 degrees, I tried the product on my beard to see if it was even hot but it wasn't. It looks like products on Amazon are low quality and ineffective. It will be sent back today!

Bought as a gift for my brother but I decided to try it on my own hair first. I love that it has different heat settings and the teeth don't get hot so you can touch them if you need to press your hair against them. I already have straight hair, but it seemed to me that on medium settings they were straightened. I love that it includes a wooden comb and beard oil. I like this beard straightener. It takes a good 30 seconds to heat up and does an amazing job. I bought it because my fiancee said my beard had become a little unruly in the last month and I was looking for ways to groom it myself. This combined with a good beard brush and beard balm has dramatically improved my beard game. I wasn't a huge fan of the included beard oil, but it works if you don't have any other beard oil.

When he opened it, two bristles fell out of the bag that was in the box before he took it out of the bag. He had wanted one for a long time, so he gave it a try anyway. Warmed up pretty quickly. His hair is very curly and coarse so it didn't go entirely straight, but what can you expect on the first try? He needs to tweak it a few more times to see if he can get better results. Although it looks better.

I bought this gift to replace the one I bought last year (different brand) and this one is much better. The teeth of the comb have a heating element, which is more durable and heats up more. If it was just a flat iron I'd be happy too as beard oil couldn't be used (hazelnuts in oil).

I just got it but so far it's been legal. I recommend starting low and then high to see what works for you. The beard oil is perfect after and doesn't have an odor that overpowers the cologne I usually wear. It's good. I massage my beard down and press firmly with my palm to tame it even more and flatten it out when I'm done. Looks way better than the occasional messy look, that's for sure. Good price
