This thing is awesome. Dinner was a thrill as once a year my husband has two and a half months when he doesn't shave. Well after 2 weeks this thing is super useful! Especially when we're going out (well, not anymore these days. LOL) or when he's on the phone.

I have short curly hair and thought this would be a good tool for straightening short hair at the back of my head. It does not expand, so heated teeth barely touch it. held one side of my hair and added tension, it worked better but more likely on longer sections than the short ones I bought it for. I think the lack of tension makes it feel hot enough on the low setting. I cranked it to max and it got better but still lacks what I need. I'm not sure how best this works for a man's beard. I…

I bought this rather for my son's hair. He is 10 years old and wants to grow his hair to donate but he has fluffy thick hair. This hair straightener works great trying to straighten it. My husband hasn't tried it on his beard yet.

Bought hoping it would help my beard stay straight and not fly all over the place. After several attempts, this task failed. My beard isn't very thick, but enough that it looks roasted even on the highest setting. I've tried running it slowly as instructed but to no avail. There is no resistance with this product so it slides straight through and doesn't pull the hair down like it should.

Tried 4 different ones. First I tried the battery, but it takes a long time to heat up, and after a few walks, it gets cold again, and you have to wait a few minutes to warm up. Then I bought a bigger one, but it didn't work when my beard was too short. Another one I bought is small, but the space between the hated elements was too big and didn't work. And finally I got this one. It meets my criteria for a beard straightener perfectly. Hope this will be helpful for someone.
