Beetles Portable Gel Light Dryer Review

I looked at this lamp first because it is very cheap with Beetle's nail brushes, which I also wanted. I was surprised to see that it has a phone holder, I haven't seen one with such a feature before. Have to say I LOVE it. It holds my phone very firmly. I watch videos while doing my nails or look at inspirational manicure photos for reference, so being able to hold the phone at a decent height is very handy. I was skeptical based on some reviews that the gel does not heal. When it arrived the box also said 36w which really bothered me as the description from Revain said it was 48w. But to my surprise, it worked great! Used with Beetle's gel polish. Dries 60 seconds for each coat. I REALLY had to wipe the stickiness off of each layer, which is probably why other people said their layer wouldn't cure. Or just get a broken one. This works GREAT!

I got my manicure yesterday and I smelled like burnt the whole time, so I hope this nail lamp doesn't explode while I'm using it. :/ I might have to send it back if it smells like this every time I use it. I just received it a week ago.

SO SO happy I made this purchase. I got this along with the Beetle Pastel Gel Nail Polish (color 291) and it was wonderful. There are high and low settings, it's nothing fancy but it works if you apply a few thin coats. The photos above show nails on days 3 and 9. I just got this lightbulb in the mail and I can't turn it on. I tried 4 different plugs that work with other things. Update: I contacted the company and had the best experience with customer service, they sent me a replacement bulb which works great. It was a pleasure to buy and this lamp works great!

Great inexpensive lamp! I've been buying Beetle's gel polishes for a long time and decided to try their lamp. I'm very impressed with it so far! It has a high and low setting which is great when I'm doing my girlfriend's nails who has sensitive nails. The base plate is removable with magnets, making it easy to disinfect or cure nail polish on your toes. All in all, if you are looking for a good cheap curing light look no further! You will not be disappointed with this lamp!

Edit September 26, 2020: Created nail designs in over 50 colors with this lamp. It saved a life. I ended up doing six samples at a time instead of three, and there was free space. This is WAY BETTER than my sensational Nail LED Lamp! I can really stick my WHOLE FUCKING ARM in here! I used to only be able to work with four fingers or thumbs at a time, so I had to paint my nails in batches. Wow! Beetle's gel nail polish is the best I've ever seen. I gave up nail polish many years ago. I don't have the patience to dry it and it came off so quickly. Not this stuff! With this light it dries in 60 seconds and it took me 2 weeks to change it. It still looked fresh after 14 days with some small chips. I'm a fan and love having beautiful nails again.
