I love it. I had to replace the body myself.

Like. Had to replace the fairing on my 2012 KIA Sportage due to wear and tear. The transmitter fits perfectly into the new housing. I would suggest using super glue to hold both sides together (it felt like it was falling apart). But it is better than KIA to pay 275 dollars for a key change.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Weight

Check the blade/key blank before purchasing.

Looks like the original key, but there is no description of the key blank. I had to remove the old key and put a new one on. The old knife didn't fit either. By the way, went to a hardware store and they made a regular car key. It works almost as well, but doesn't have a large carrying adornment. The key blade is thinner.

Pros
  • Quality assembly
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

it's better than the key i got from the past.

Purchased to replace a damaged key I received when I bought a 2010 Kia Soul. Have disassembled the old one and was able to successfully reassemble it, but the key itself is difficult to pull out of the case with a push of a button, and the case has fallen apart several times for no reason. It's better than the key they gave me from the store. former owner but not much!

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Simply replacing the rubber button pad

On the advice of another commenter here for my 2 2011 KIA Soul key fobs that had the rubber pads on the release button falling off I simply removed the rubber piece from the original fob and the thin plastic frame, wrapped the rubber element, cleaned the plastic frame, then wrapped the rubber from the replacement key fob around it and installed it back into the original key fob. 2-3 minutes for each bunch of keys.

Pros
  • brings joy
Cons
  • Legacy model

Waste of money

Bought for a 2011 Kia Soul. The blank key will NOT fit the ignition and you cannot transfer the old blank key to this fob as it will not fit. Done differently. There is also no electronics in this case so the buttons will not work and again you cannot transfer the circuit board from your original to this one. It seems like a cheap answer to a replacement key fob, but don't waste your money. Non-refundable after you disassemble it to try and get it working. Cheap Chinese junk!

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

I bought this for my 2012 Kia Sportage. Assembly was easy enough and would have gotten 5 stars if not for a reason. The factory key does not match. The pin hole is slightly offset. Keep in mind that the blade that comes with the kit works great. But I didn't want to make a new key. I was able to secure the factory pin with a paperclip instead of a pin. It's very safe. I would also like to note that the factory key is glued. If you expect it to keep the same you need to glue it together. I…

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old
