This basket fits my Simple Seven Cruiser well and has velcro to hold it to the frame to prevent scratches. It arrived much earlier than planned via standard shipping.

This was about the only basket I could find that would hold my 17lb Shih Tzu, all other baskets were limited to 11lbs. together and have fun! I added a large scarf for his comfort and tied it with a bike lock chain. DO NOT do this if your dog is nervous! Installation just finished. Installation is easy but be prepared if you have bars with any type of lift you will need to carefully bend the top brackets to get the screw into the threads. I set this up for a commuter bike with flat bars, 16.5" frame and 700c wheels. In other words, a normal-sized bike for a normal adult. I bought this one because it looked a lot stronger than some of the other options and sold for about $20. It goes well with my Trek city bike and feels pretty solid. I removed the star because it was more difficult to put on than I thought. I had to bend the parts where it attaches to the handlebars because they didn't wrap easily around my handlebars. Absolutely awful. First, the instructions are nowhere to be found unless you download this stupid, overly complicated app. Second, the design is terrible (random mix of hex and Phillips screws that don't really match what you're good at and clearly stand out). Finally, unfortunately, the handlebar mounts only fit the thinnest handlebars, and bending them into the desired shape is almost impossible. There is no other way to attach it to the bike.
