Great price and reliable protection.

Bought a new bike, got new helmets. Both were SRTs. This one was for my wife and she loves the goggle slots and the improved ventilation compared to her last helmet. Very happy.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • No

The sizes are too big, best in helmets

This helmet is too big for its size. I would recommend getting one size smaller. I have the HJC in the large size which is too small but the bell in the XL is too big.

Pros
  • beautiful thing
Cons
  • small things

A good helmet is protective gear

Overall a good helmet. I am very happy. A few things worth noting are that I think it could have been a bit better, but not bad. This helmet fits a little tighter than it measures. It was tight at the top of my head when I first put it on, but it broke after a while. It came with 35mm cheek pads, they were too tight. I replaced them with 30mm cheek pads for less than $30. In general, a good fit, quality and rolling noise is not bad.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Almost never

Choice for round oval heads looking for a Snell on a budget

Bell is the only option for round oval heads looking for a Snell on a budget. Base for a custom helmet that I painted. I do not recommend anyone to paint their helmets as the body and paint abrasion can affect the safety of the helmet. It's also quite comfortable on 90+ day days as long as you open the visor a bit. Would have liked more ventilation but that's not to be expected for the price you pay.

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

Snell M2020 for less than 200€ - very satisfied

I had trouble finding a helmet that met all my needs. It had to be Snell certified (preferably M2020), light, blue and a combination and (because I only race it 5 or 6 weekends a year) - it couldn't be very expensive. I found this on sale for $168 and it has been tested in every way. I really wish it had a dark visor or one that automatically changes tint but for the price I got this and bought the dark visor and it was still less than $220 for a quality helmet.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • I don't really like it, everything is fine

Great helmet for the price

This is a mid-range Bell helmet, typically over $200 and one of the cheapest helmets I've seen with a DOT and Snell rating. You can find it even cheaper in some colorways, so this is an absolute steal. The Hart-Luck Gloss/Matte Charcoal/White/Red Skull I ordered was $139. The skull graphic and pinstripe are a little "fair brother!" for my taste, but they're pretty muted on the back of the helmet too, so it was worth the $70 savings. A very pedestrian white and gray color scheme was also…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable
