Good $200 helmet great for motorcycles and strength sports

This helmet is $200. It's comfortable and has removable inserts so it's easy to clean. It's a bit heavy compared to more expensive helmets (about 1/2 pound lighter) but not too bad. I weighed it in at 4.1 pounds for the X-Large. It's not 3.3 pounds as advertised. Maybe they gave weight to the X-Small version. They use screws to attach the face shield and visor, which means there are parts to keep track of if you decide to swap mid-ride. The top vents are always open, so cold weather riding may…

Incredible price and quality!

I have ridden motorcycles all my life. Motocross, desert and closed course. I've always wanted a dual sport bike but never got one. When I first started looking for helmets I was a bit worried because my racing helmets, Arai, Shoei and others were in the 500+ region. I've fallen many times on the course, so I know the value of a good cap. When I saw this bell for 219.00 along with Revain's excellent return policy I thought I'd take the plunge. And I'm so glad I did! Typical Bell quality (once…

good value for money good for motorcycles and motorsport

For the price little (or nothing) beats. I'm always happy with light colors (light green rather than yellow) and flowers, I want the black part to be blue or light blue. I don't know why all these helmets have so much black color but I went with the white/blue flare model but this yellow/black one is much cheaper and has basically the same safety features. It is recommended to visit a local store before purchasing these items to ensure they fit, but here is a large size which is the same size…

It works like a fairly large BMX helmet

My head circumference is 63cm as far as I can tell which equates to a 7-7/8 to 8 hat size. I tried the 2XL helmet. I was able to put it on my head, but it was too small. 3XL fits better. I use it for BMX. I was afraid the cap would block my view, but it's not. The visor is ok but I have to tighten the plastic screws to keep it in place. The tote bag is good. I wear goggles and cannot put on or take off my helmet without removing my goggles. In addition, when wearing the helmet, a slight lateral

nice helmet, well finished, nice features

At first this helmet contained a transparent shield and a dark shield. This costs $50. It weighs 3 pounds 12.5 ounces. Not easy and not difficult. My head measures exactly 23 1/2 inches at its widest point (just above the eyebrows). The fit is very good, a little more than tight, but it's new. The cheek pads are too thick and put too much pressure on my face, but that may change after wearing. There is no way to adjust this or access the foam in the fabric. But it's not uncomfortable. I'm sure…

Definitely NOT for glasses wearers.

Three things about this helmet.1. It is not suitable for people who wear glasses. The thin foam on the sides of the temples is protected by rigid plastic plates to accommodate the plastic pin locking mechanisms. Therefore there is very little flex in this area and not as much to allow the goggle/sunglasses compression to slide inward. Due to the MIP system, the liner constantly slips a little on the inside. I put this helmet on my head several times, and the balaclava never sat flat. I could…

My Comments on the Bell MX-9 Adv MIPS – Black/Red/White Berm

I would like to share my observations on the Bell MX-9 Adventure MIPS. As I continue to use the helmet I will update this review. When opening the box. Well packaged and both Revain and Bell did a very good job. No transport damage found. Inside the Bell box was a helmet pouch, some MIPS literature, information about the antibacterial liner, a Bell helmet instruction manual, and a zip pouch with two plastic discs (I assume these discs are used to cover and protect the holes should attach the…
