BELLA 13906 Red Waffle Bowl Maker Review

One recipe makes about 20-28 bowls, more than I can use at once, but they hold up well. I think an element in mine isn't working so it doesn't brown on a quarter so I let it spin and a few more seconds and they are even. I don't know if this is a feature of my individual unit or a problem with all bowl manufacturers, so I thought I'd skip the easy fix. It takes about 3 minutes to steam, so it's best to make them ahead of time.

Love it. This is such a good item if you are cooking low carb or gluten free. A very small amount of batter is used (1 tablespoon per bowl), so there are fewer carbs due to the portion size, and because the bowls are thin, they come out crispy. Also, it only takes 2 minutes to cook 2 bowls. Some other electric bakers seem to be much slower. I used Trim Healthy Mama Baking Mix and filled the prepared shells like a sandwich. Really like this little machine. After reading the recipes in the booklet that came with it, I was tempted to put it all in a donation box or put it in a Christmas gift box.
