I love this hoodie (because my son loves it)! This is the ideal weight for every day, indoors or out. I only gave it a 4 for thickness because it's not thick, but it shouldn't be a heavy sweatshirt either. I like the smooth finish. My son wears it everywhere. even baseball practice. and gets compliments all the time (not a huge plus for him, but it tells me he made the right choice in choosing this sweatshirt). I bought this for my 8 year old son and while the design is pretty cool it would be an overstatement to call it a sweatshirt. It's neither soft on the inside nor warm, so I'd say it's more of a hooded long-sleeve shirt. I wish it was very warm but the design is cool and it can be worn in slightly warm weather with a light breeze, like a sunny day at the beach when it is sunny but still a bit windy but not too cold.
