I've bought this mascara from Ulta many times (it's one of my favorite mascaras!) so I know what it should look like; it is definitely a fake. First of all, this mascara has a flex wand, but the real mascaras I've bought from Ulta didn't have flex wands. Second, he had a terrible chemical smell, and that's a clear sign something's wrong. First of all this seller was great I had no problems with him. But it was the worst mascara I've ever used. It's super sticky and doesn't dry out. It's like having fresh resin on your lashes all day. I live in Colorado where it's pretty dry, can't imagine what the humidity is like. If your lashes even lightly touch your sunglasses, they'll stick together and form a giant clump of lashes, and the mascara will cover all of your lenses. I bought it with hesitation because of the reviews (usually only 4 stars and above) but my daughter wanted it. We don't spoil kids so it seemed reasonable and I pay way more for my makeup :-). The look on her face when she opened it this year was worth double the price. She loves this product and it gives her a beautiful look and curve, she has less lashes and it has helped them pop more. I'll buy again when it's gone.

I've been using this mascara for several years now and I knew something was wrong as soon as I pulled out the brush. The end was straight but the real one was curved and the mascara was so thin I didn't cover it at all. I looked back and saw that the English word was missing a letter. With all that stuff, I knew it wasn't real.
