perfect for adapting a full HDMI cable to a mini connector on the RPi

Another different video connector to deal with and adapt, solved. These adapters are small enough to be left on the RPi robot platform I'm building. Standard monitors don't use mini-HDMI, so this adapter is a must-have for my hardware arsenal.

More than worth the money.

, I bought this product as a solution for live streaming my tablet to a Smart TV. My TV has many HDMI ports. How wonderful, I thought it would be great to connect the tablet to the TV. Casting apps were time-limited; and most of them are constantly buffered. The Mini HDMI to HDMI Adapter solved all my problems. This provided a crisp picture and great sound for my media. Okay, but there is a possibility of bending

Not good for my application. The total length of the HDMI cable head and this adapter is quite long. The result is a very long lever. Mini-HDMI is a small interface. In combination with the long arm, the adapter can be bent very easily. This wouldn't be a huge problem if connected to something like a fixed monitor, but since most devices that use mini-HDMI are portable, they have to deal with a more open environment.
