I may have received a poor quality tripod, but this tripod does not align properly for video work. Panoramic shot cannot be taken. Fully extended or fully retracted, it will never be truly level. Since I take photos 99% of the time I didn't bother returning it and gave it 2 stars. Very disappointed with the price of this item. If you buy it for any kind of video work, check it carefully beforehand.

Find out it's made for travel. It's very well made and folds compact enough to fit in your carry-on when traveling by plane (folds down to about 14 inches). There are sturdier options, but if you want a good tripod that folds up, this is a great option. The legs are thicker than most in its class. This is a quality construction.
