Instructions are included, usually enough thread (someone has little, someone a lot), two needles, fabric. The pattern is easy to understand and easy enough to follow. I would give this set four or five stars, but I'm giving it three because of one major flaw. Symbol #2 and #15 are so similar that they are almost indistinguishable in the pattern, so it was very difficult to complete this design. I'm guessing this pattern was computer generated without considering how cross stitching works. There are several adjacent areas of the same color, which makes it very difficult to find the start and end point of the embroidery section. One or more isolated stitches of one color are very similar to another color, so similar that I wonder why the two shades weren't simply combined. But the worst is the pattern.
