Durable extension cord used in extension cords and surge protectors

This is an excellent metal extension cord. It has 8 sockets spaced apart so you can use them all if needed. The power supply is well made and durable. I mounted it on the wall in my garage - awesome!

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Negative result available

Reliable and well made

This power supply is awesome - it's solid because it's metal. The outlets are spaced far enough apart to plug in all those crazy, oddly sized power adapters. This is a constant problem with many power strips - one odd-numbered power supply and you'll lose access to two adjacent outlets. The professional looks, it feels solid and the blade retention in the sockets themselves is quite high which is great and often overlooked. Looks good, works well and the price is good. Whether for the office…

Heavy metal for accessories and consumables

Wall warts are a separate epidemic with the proliferation of low-power devices, especially USB type. Finding the right size and layout of power strips to accommodate them became a challenge. Until that glorious day when some kind of industry standard emerges, we'll have to look for outlets big enough to plug in more than one power supply at a time. This is a power strip, not a surge protector, but not everything needs to be isolated from surges. the whole time. Although the outlets on this…

Pros
  • Power distributor and surge protector
Cons
  • Without circuit breaker

Ideal for any workshop

I have several identical (usually large) metal extensions in my garage and basement that make any job that much easier. I fasten securely (often with zip ties) and there is always an outlet. I never have to "rob Peter to pay Paul" or guess which fork is no longer needed. Anyway, I've never done this for my desk, which usually has multiple computers, multiple monitors, KVM switches, network switches, and who knows what. I rearrange from time to time but I'm about to run out of available outlets…
