I love how it slims my waist! I am a pear shaped female, 5ft 5in, about 175 pounds. I ordered a large size and it fit perfectly and I had enough room to play with how I wanted the brace to fit and open as many legs as I wanted (or not!). This skirt is a 5 star item. It's beautiful and of good quality. However, in my experience, the size differs significantly. The size Large I ordered was only a modest fit for a small person, or maybe a bold medium size! For reference, my height is 5 inches 8 inches and my weight is 165 pounds. The skirt is beautiful but runs small. Increase the size if you need enough wrap so you don't expose everyone lol. For the record, I'm 5ft 5in, 150lbs and usually wear a size 8/M.
