Works perfectly! for GPS system accessories

I ran the IMU at 100Hz, albeit variable (remember it was for a while). I ran the GPS at 1Hz. The only problem from my point of view is that the IMU and GPS are disabled, ie the IMU code provided does not query the GPS. I had a hard time adjusting the IMU and GPS time. Timestamps are not common.

Very good design. Good documentation

I took this unit to look at these little I2C IMU sensors and see what they can do. The attached image shows the Grafana dashboard I use to visualize data. I wrote a script that collects data and forwards it to Logstash and then to Kafka and Elasticsearch to quench my thirst for data science. I think the next steps are to learn about data smoothing as the raw data seems to contain a lot of noise. . As far as I can tell, it's electromagnetic or electrostatic noise. Works mostly

BMP280 chip could not be read. temperature/pressure. It maps to I2Cbus (0x77), but if you flush all bytes even the ID comes back as 0x00. I can try clipping the traceback on the back to set it to 0x76 but I doubt that will change anything. Otherwise everything else worked. GPS requires a fairly clear line of sight in the sky with an internal antenna.

One of them works perfectly.

I ordered one of these only to find that the GPS function works but the I2C bus doesn't work. I ordered a second unit on a whim that there was a hardware issue. So far the second block has worked flawlessly. I set up my Raspberry Pi Waverunner. The Pi records and stores IMU, pressure, temperature, GPS and AIS data onboard. I hope the second block lasts long.

Great module with compact form factor

There are many IMU and GPS solutions for Raspberry Pi. What sets this product apart from others is that: .1. IMU and GPS are integrated in a single module. Many other solutions require separate IMU and GPS chips/boards, making it difficult for the user to connect to the 40-pin connector. BerryGPS-IMUv3 integrates everything and integrates interfaces with the first 10 pins of the connector.
