Used for USB power extender

I have a couple of security IP cameras that don't support PoE (lame!) on one end and barrel connector on the other and aren't very long . Instead of replacing this cable and hoping I can connect one in the same way as the probably non-standard cable, I decided to extend the USB end of the power cord. stuck them on my cameras, everything worked without problems. I haven't tried running any data through them.

Excellent quality and it's good to have several of these cables for different things!

There always seems to be times when you need a USB extender and I only had one which I always had to "borrow from Peter to pay Paul". I'm glad I finally settled on a whole pack of these, but apparently I've run out of them again! They seem solid enough and they all worked with no issues. I use one to power my heated vest so I don't have to carry a battery. I wrote in the vest review that I expect the cable coming out of the vest to come loose before this extension breaks, so it's decentโ€ฆ

Absolutely terrible connection on the female side

I needed this cable to make a secure connection to a USB cable that I had to extend because it would be dangling off the side of the closet. When I first tried to plug in the cable I thought I was doing it wrong until I realized the plug wouldn't go all the way into the jack. Other extensions I've used in the past allow the connector to be fully inserted and held securely in place; not this one. Not only that, even pushing the cord all the way through leaves a playground (wiggle) so it's easily

Such convenience at your fingertips

I bought this because I am an older woman back in college. I need to sit in a comfortable place while studying. I also have to type a lot of materials, lie to emails and documents, extensive notes from my teachers and homework and essays. This meant I had to sit with my laptop next to the printer and clutter this small space with my study materials, as well as walking back and forth to charge other devices I need for my studies, such as laptops. B. Kindle, iPad, Phone. This eliminates the needโ€ฆ

Do not buy the camera

I bought these to run cables to my microphone and camera that are mounted to the ceiling. Poorly. Both my Logitech C920 and my handheld camera have a lot of artifacts IF they connect at all. Yes, I have swapped cables with known good ones and such. I had another extension from another device that I put on instead and it works great. So it's definitely those cables. so again. No for webcam. second problem. The female side is a pretty loose tie. It won't fall out easily, but if you hit it rightโ€ฆ
