Faulty tool, wasted money.

This product is terrible. The lock doesn't work properly and you can`t use it to adjust the timing on your diesel engine. The only good thing about it is the price, but i would recommend spending a little more to get a better quality tool. Overall, this is a waste of money for anyone in the automotive industry..

Pros
  • Ensures accurate and precise engine timing for diesel vehicles.
Cons
  • Requires some knowledge of engine mechanics to properly install and use.

Hardly works

2006 JETTA 1.9L BRM. This kit did the job. I have the camshaft/bearings/gaskets/etc. The part holding the crankshaft did not fit properly on the crank gear. Tool and handle teeth become thin/thick/thin/thick. This tool was out of order, so it didn't fit the crank exactly unless I was off by a cog. Luckily there is a factory time stamp as this tool was basically useless. The tool used to hold the camshaft in place was barely too big to fit in the mounting hole. The drill with the letter "A"…

Pros
  • Timing belt tools
Cons
  • Some problems
