Great idea for Christmas. They let the children draw their nutcrackers and then hung them on the Christmas tree. I think we will be buying a set every December, the kids (4 and 7 at the time) loved it.

Big disappointment and breakdown for my kids when we opened them all hands and hats fell off. Spent the first day gluing the arms and hat pieces! Definitely buy wood glue! I didn't expect to be able to build my own nutcracker out of wooden dowels for the price paid. that they are installed and glued correctly

Cute little guys (4 inch tall) and fun crafts for toddlers BUT I had to buy paint because what they sent was dry and buy decorations which are standard in other sets were. Also, the arms had to be glued back on because they popped out easily. Still a fair buy because there are 6 of these and it's a good deal, but I'll probably buy a bigger and more complete set for more money next year.

Excellent set for the money. Includes everything in the photo. The pieces are quite durable given the price and my family had a lot of fun coloring and gluing the hair. They're not perfect - the arms and mouths move as expected, but wiggle a bit. Again, for the money it was exactly what I was hoping for. Please note that glue is not included, so check it. This was the family's favorite activity this Christmas! The set contains 6 different nutcracker decorations, some paint, a brush and a tuft of hair and gems to stick on. Everyone in my family had theirs and they wrote their names and the year on the bottom of the coaster. This is a great idea for the whole group that we will probably do every year.
