They are nice and big so you can use them for big diameters but they are very thin and thin so plan not using them very well for accurate writing. They were cheaper so you get what you pay for.

The spring tension and screw adjustment work well and allow for excellent divider adjustment. Unfortunately, it still cannot maintain a constant radius in use due to the lack of horizontal support. As a result, the legs tend to bend and twist with very little pressure. If you are looking for a cheap partition for undemanding work, this is definitely a wise choice. But if you need something more durable, I can't recommend this.

Purchased to mark holes for drilling/installing kitchen cabinet handles and other simple room renovation tasks. They seem good for these tasks and a decent value for what they are. The spring is strong, the nut works smoothly. The legs are sturdy but the construction is a little flimsy so I can understand the reviewer saying they don't hold true draw radii but I don't need that. good device for me for the price. Too bad they came in a suitcase or I could find a suitcase for them.
