Not the color I expected

The wallet is thin and light and you can really shake it upside down and nothing will fall out. However, the color of the wallet is not what I expected. It's so dark that it took me a long time to believe it was actually brown and not black. This is nothing like the brown pic you can find on the Big Skinny website. The brown is so dark that it looks more like something black that has been left in the sun for too long. Pretty disappointing.

  • Love it. Fits more than my bulky leather wallets and half the size in my bag.
Cons
  • This is not suitable for people who prefer larger wallets

I really like this wallet

I really like this wallet. I haven't met anyone with a thinner wallet and it's still very durable. I love how they make an ultra thin wallet only to put a rubber label on it that increases the thickness by almost 50% when empty. I just got the seam ripper to the label and now it's gone. Problem solved!

thin but a little tight

I still carry most of my credit cards with me and this nylon wallet is significantly thinner than my previous leather wallet. It holds bills in thickness but hardly accepts them in length. I do not mind.

Preferably. Wallet. Always!

I just found out about the tall skinny ones and I love them. I've always put a lot less in my wallet than most people just so it doesn't get too bulky. Now I can put things back and they are still thinner than my old canvases. I've been wearing it for a while and it seems very durable yet so thin! I got a few people to try the big skinny wallets and they all liked them.

The best wallet I've ever had. I dispensed with a large tactical wallet that could hold anything. I'm glad I switched. Now my wallet goes with me wherever I go!

Fantastic front wallet pocket

Fits comfortably in front pocket unlike most other wallets. This wallet is very thin but can still comfortably hold 5 credit cards. This works best when you only have a few bills in it, otherwise it gets too thick. It takes a little longer to put the bills in the wallet because of the tight fit, but as long as the bills aren't crumpled it's not a problem. Overall good quality.

Excellent quality and price. I've always liked a small wallet. 1/2-1 inch wider would be nice though. You can insert and withdraw banknotes, but not only. It's too tight.

Very bad smell: my rating

Really bad smell. I'm trying to neutralize, but so far without success. This is the third large thin item I have ordered. There are no problems with others. I won't order it again because of the smell. I don't want a repeat

I'm buying 5 if they ever change this design.

If they stop, I'm going to buy 5 of these now. This is the only wallet that is properly designed. The card slots face inward so cards never fall out of your wallet. Double transparent ID pockets are ideal. On one side is my driver's license, on the other my subway card. My current wallet is falling apart after 3 years of use. I think for a $20 wallet it's ok.

I love this slim purse! I bought this for an upcoming trip to New York and have been using it for a few weeks now. I have 8 cards and 11 bills in it and it's still twice as thin as the wallet I replaced. Definitely recommend this product.

Metro is the best big thin wallet for me.

my 4th? or 5th? Subway wallet? I used to order them direct from Big Skinny but shipping has gotten high. And the sale never showed up when I needed it. Show my driver's license and CCW permit. I have some cash and 12-15 cards or something. I love these wallets and will never go back to a big fat wallet. The big thin logo eventually came off and the inner pockets were a bit loose after about 2 years of daily use so I replaced them. I really love this style.

I wanted to love it, but I don't

Maybe I should have read the description of the wallet, but since I mostly carry it in my back pocket, this wallet was pretty bad. My cards break because the material doesn't have much strength or weight, and since there are only four CC/ID slots, that means you have to double down. It would be nice if the wallet was tight or durable, but the wallet only moves while you go about your business and your credit cards will end up rubbing against each other.

Choose this signature tip from son. Was very surprised that it was as advertised. In case something was underestimated in the description. Took all the contents of my old wallets and was smaller than the old empty one. The credit card slots in particular had space so cards were easy to remove but they were secure.
