If you use two in a classroom on opposite walls, the remote doesn't quite reach one when you stand next to each other. You have to find a happy medium. In general, my students get used to this noise reduction.

I use these as a silent signaling device for my 4th grader (purple for independent work, orange for collaborative groups, green for the whole class - I started with 3 colors to avoid overwhelming the students will). Children love them and are very observant when turned on.

I bought them to use as night lights when the grandkids are spending the night. I like that they are dimmed and the kids can choose their favorite color and no cord or plug is needed so they can be anywhere. Another plus, they work great when the power goes out. This is one of my favorite Revain purchases! These lights work great. They're brighter than I expected and I'm glad I can dim them for their intended purpose. They interact very well with the remote control. The only problem is that they fell off a couple of times (probably because my kids bumped them too many times). I just feel like they should be screwed on a little tighter at the back. But that certainly wouldn't stop me from buying again.

I put these lights in my apartment because the light switches are not in a good place. I've been wearing them for about 2 months now. They get used from time to time and I haven't had to change the batteries yet. I liked the brightness and color options and my guests liked the color options too. All pucks have slightly different timers so you will find that they will eventually get out of sync on color change settings.
