Description of 🚱 Kishu, Japan's Large Binchotan Charcoal Water Purifier Stick - Filters 1-2 Gallons with Precision

Binchotan (Japanese Oak) activated charcoal is the highest grade of charcoal. These charcoals are from the Kishu region of Japan. Absorbs impurities from water, resulting in pure, great tasting water (filtering time for 1-2 gallons of water is 6-7 hours). Use 1 stick for 1-2 gallons of water; stick is approximately 2.5-3cm in diameter and 15cm in length. Reactivate charcoal every two weeks by boiling for 10 minutes and letting dry. Material: binchotan (Japanese Oak) charcoal from Kishu, Japan.

Great natural filter

I combined it with a Gofiltr filter which balances the pH of the water and I love the result. The water tastes clean and clear and still contains good minerals.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Only available in white

Not as good as carbon filters that fit on a faucet or.

. Something like. Not as good as charcoal filters that fit in a faucet or jug. Unlike filters from a tap and a jug, you have to wait for hours, and after you wait, the water stops being filtered. I would say it improved the taste by 30-40%. I will not buy again.

Pros
  • is clear, even the old
Cons
  • works a lot

Should be a little thinner to fit the normal glass bottle head.

I used Kuro Bo coins in the past but got them in South Africa. I almost expected the charcoal to be thinner to fit in a regular bottle. It wasn't a problem because we cut the stick, halved it, and now there's enough for my two water bottles.

Pros
  • Sturdy build
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Good concept for kitchen and bathroom faucets

I liked the concept of the product but I couldn't tell it apart from tap water. I was looking for an alternative to bottled water which we drink a lot. If I could feel the difference it would be worth almost $20 but in the end it isn't and I don't

Pros
  • Test for one year
Cons
  • Almost never

Loyal customer: Replacement water filter

Very effective, easy to use and great value. I am a regular customer and I hope to use the services of this brand for many years to come. Economical, does not require installation, easy to use, can be packed and transported in an emergency, and can also be used for home treatment. I follow the cooking instructions every two weeks and let the stick dry when not in use and let it sit in the water for 6-7 hours.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Not sure

It tastes great! Takes a long time.

We love them and use them in our water pitcher to turn tap water into delicious water. We also put one in the bottom of our Britta and that makes it even better. Be sure to boil it before use and then from time to time. This will update it and you will enjoy the difference. I rate them on taste because we have good quality tap water that contains chloramide which removes that taste and makes the water fresh and clean.

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Neutral

Charcoal is the NEW “thing”!

I used to use the smaller 2-packs for individual reusable bottles. Actually I put both in a pitcher, I had to filter the water. Then I wanted 1 for my water bottle so I bought this large charcoal stick! Now I have it in my jug and filter tap water. If you want to save $, this is THAT! Forget glasses with special filters that cost too much and you even forget to change them or even buy more because they cost too much! Use it, it's reusable, sustainable!

Pros
  • quick change
Cons
  • negative imprint

I was skeptical at first but now I believe

My family and I had our doubts but after following the directions and placing the charcoal in a gallon jar we were pleasantly surprised. We carefully compared charcoal-loaded water to our kitchen faucet, hard water, and immediately recognized the fresh and clean taste. I am officially replacing my Brita, the replacement cost is about the same and lasts the same except the Binchotan activated carbon is biodegradable but the Brita filter is not.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Don't remember

H2O tastes like CRYSTAL CLEAR WATER!

Makes your faceted water taste as good as buying a bottle of #1water Fij. I grew up drinking bottled water and bought a smaller bottle that didn't work in a gallon jug. I had to go back. I think I have a dud. Decided to give it another try, great reviews. Xlarge is so cool! 6 hours later great water! I buy them all for Christmas, they are amazing. I lived in Naples, we had some hard H2O, now Arizona is even worse! After I fill the bottle it goes cloudy, then I turn it upside down and put it in…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Makes me nervous
