My best hotspot in networking products broke

The connectors were so tight they ripped out the inner part of the connection that separates it from the hotspot so now I'm out of antenna connectors. Didn't improve the signal by one iota.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Not bad but...

6dB solid gain on tmobile

for ZTE Hotspot from ATT, unlocked, Metropcs sim card on tmobile network, in the city, signal changed from -79 to -72 even -71dBm. Pretty good as described! It does this without adjusting the antenna position or configuration, so we're hoping for even more gain.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • disappearing

Use with portable hotspot

Virtual learning has created a need for a backup Wi-Fi hotspot at home. I bought this antenna to boost my cell phone signal on my portable wifi hotspot. Works well but only increased my signal by one band. Without an antenna I got two bars, with an antenna I got three bars, I was hoping for four bars.

Pros
  • Holding my fists
Cons
  • Hard to say

Highly recommend for durability

Cons: It should be a magnetic base but it isn't. This was one of the features I wanted. This is easy to fix but the listing should be amended to reflect the actual product shipped. Pros: Wow! The cable is of good quality and the plastic is strong. I get 6 dB signal improvement for my MiFi. It would be better if they offer 90 degree adapters.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some bugs

Works very well on Netgear 791L. From zero bars to two bars.

I use the 791L Hotspot on our tandem recumbent. Signal strength is generally weak in this rural area. With this antenna I went from zero signal to two bars, which is more than adequate for my purposes. The TS-9 connectors were very loose when mated and a bit of very careful adjustment with needle nose pliers took care of that. Impressive product, low price.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Expensive

Works with Netgear Nighthawk 5G Hotspot

I live in an LTE/5G dead zone. I found where my nearest tower was and pointed the antennas in an L at that tower. Testing with and without the antenna connected, I almost tripled my download (which is important to me when streaming). For some reason the download didn't improve much, but it could be due to network congestion. I will be using this for live streaming and mobile shows. It's now an integral part of my gear.

Pros
  • Handy article
Cons
  • So far so good
