Slow drilling in concrete

Good design; However, using the smallest drill (40mm) it took eight hours, double-sharpening the carbide tips and lots of water to penetrate a 10-inch concrete block of the building's foundation and hit the soft rebar only once. That's how it works, only very slowly when it comes to 30-year-old thick concrete slabs. I used a green stone made specifically for sharpening carbide to keep the leading edge of this cutter sharp. If sharpening wasn't possible, it would take much longer.

Pros
  • CONSTRUCTION: The connecting rod shank has a 110mm long SDS PLUS design, convenient for use with a four-hole electric impact drill.
Cons
  • No performance

Amazing quality and range.

I must say that for the price paid I am more than happy to have spent it. A large hole in masonry without a drill or mandrel would easily cost nearly 2x what I paid for this set with everything including the small carry case. Be prepared not to make a mistake, I used the second largest hole saw drilled through 2 rows of bricks. Punch m18. I think it took a while due to my drill choice but I'm the end she went through. Clean cut! I can't say enough more for this amazing offer. I highly recommend

Cuts holes but dude

Manufacturer's Note: If you're having trouble cutting a wall, your tool isn't strong enough, you're right. I tried a 1/2" hammer drill and it wasn't strong enough. Cuts about 1/4" in about 1-2 hours as others have stated. I went to a tool rental shop and asked what size tool I needed, to cut a 5" hole and they pulled out this massive tool designed primarily for cutting 5" holes in brick/stone/concrete. Let's just say the tool helped a lot. It always has still slow but I got through the rest of…
