Weaker than tissue paper

I loved the idea. I use biodegradable litter for my cats, but the garbage man insists I pack them. I bought these because I thought it would be a great way to keep everything compostable. What mistake. They are thinner than tissue paper. In 5/10 cases they ripped as soon as they were opened. Then they tear when I put ANYTHING in them. They will only come in handy to me without a trash can. I leave my bag on the counter and open/close it when I use it. I try to remove the bags every day or two…
