I wanted to try this product as I'm trying to be aware of what might be ending up in our landfills and oceans. I'm glad it works as well as other cleaning sponges while being eco-friendly.

Ordered this brand by mistake and am very satisfied! They feel a bit stiff at first but soften and last a long time. I keep them clean with soap after use. I'm very sensitive to odors and didn't have to microwave them to sanitize them, so that's another bonus.

I love the idea of biodegradable sponges and these sponges come in minimally recyclable cardboard packaging. They don't last as long as regular sponges, mainly because the bond between the sponge and the surfaces being cleaned is weaker. Also, they are perforated, which makes them less attractive. However, I strongly recommend buying them and supporting the company that makes them.

When left together these make a great sponge. The first time I used it, the sponge started to separate. A few more uses and the 2 parts are completely separate. When I first used it I was inclined to give it a negative review as the cleaning part partially came off the sponge fairly quickly. But now that I've been using them longer, I have 5 stars and up. The back can be partially detached but for now it works perfectly and stays flat for use.
