Biore Watery Essence 🌞 Sunblock: Enhanced Sunscreen for Optimal Protection Review

Love this sunscreen! This product was recommended to me by my dermatologist and I have to say it goes really well with my makeup. And because I use several anti-wrinkle products that make me prone to sun damage, I use this product under my foundation every morning. It feels really nice and silky and just glides on. This is my favorite sunscreen. I'm black with oily skin, so it's difficult to find sunscreen that isn't oily, doesn't clog pores, and doesn't have a white cast. While this sunscreen is a little more expensive than drugstore brands, it hits the spot. The sunscreen has a white, lotion-like consistency but blends seamlessly into the skin. The original version of this product is wonderful and has been used for several years. However, the item I received is obviously counterfeit. The smell and texture are completely different, and the packaging is clearly fake; The font is slightly wrong, the material of the bottle is not the same, and the opening of the packaging is different from the original. By far the most obvious downside is the sunshade itself. Would not buy from this seller again.

This sunscreen has its pros and cons. Some advantages: leaves no white residue, moisturizes and blends into the skin like an oil. Some cons: It stings my eyes a lot, my makeup slips and falls off very easily, has a strong smell of alcohol, and leaves a greasy shine on my oily skin. I don't think I will be repurchasing this sunscreen because I can't get over how bad makeup looks on top of it and how it stings my eyes.

Use this when you need a sunscreen that looks like it doesn't exist. Due to the more chemical than mineral nature of SPF protection, it is easy to apply. It has a slight smell when you first apply it, but it dissipates quickly. The tube doesn't last much, I'd probably look for something cheaper if your situation calls for frequent reapplication of sunscreen. For everyday use, however, sun protection is hard to beat.

I bought this based on the many positive reviews I read online and it did not disappoint! This is a Holy Grail sunscreen product; it glows, leaves my skin smooth and soft and dries quickly to a matte finish. I have never seen a face sunscreen that absorbs so well and feels so cosmetically elegant. It looks great on its own (ie no 'whitening' and non-greasy) and is also perfect to wear under makeup.
