I bought this paper cutter based on reviews and I regret it. The blade leaves jagged edges on any paper cut, even on thin copy paper, which I was trying to see how it would work on. Does not cut card stock cleanly or completely. The blade is either not sharp enough or not long enough to make a clean cut. I will never buy again and will not recommend either.

Accurate measurement; I like the fact that where the retractable arm attaches to the body of the flashlight it has 6.25/6.5" engraved on it, so you can't tell if the material will come loose when you cut it. I have several Fiskars cutters and many of them have deviated by a few mm even when cutting over 7 inches. Not this one. The blade is easy to change and no scoring board is needed as a scoring blade is also included. I wish the company would make a cutter that could cut through thicker…

First I would like to say that the Bira cutter works very well and is suitable for both cutting and creasing. It's the perfect size for cutting different sizes of paper, and the platform feels solid. The only problem I found after cutting my first sheet of paper is that the ruler markings on the extension are 1/8" off (see attached image). The ruler on the actual cutter deck is correct, but if I overthink a little 6" I have to remember to adjust the position 1/8" to the left. Not a big deal but
