I shortened the strap a few inches so there was not 6 inches of extra webbing at the buckle. While this solved the tail problem, without the extra length to grip the sling, it was difficult to pull the sling in and out tightly. Once I tighten it, it stays. I have other belts from Bison Design and they are all excellent quality. This one isn't my favorite. Having tried the double ring design, I prefer the plastic snap for easy attachment.

This bison belt was fine. Like any other bison, you can trim it to fit your waist. The color goes well with beige pants. My only complaint is that the buckle is too big for my liking. It's not as straight as in the picture. However, it does the job.

The strap is stiff making it difficult to attach the belt. It takes two hands to even get close to the desired setting. Flat D-rings may look a little better if their function is lost. The strap also loosens after a short time. How could anyone design this belt without even testing it to see how it performs? In addition, the time between order and delivery was almost a month and a half.

I use this harness for hiking but it's also good for everyday use. It is easily adjustable and does not slip. The stitching is strong and the end is melted to prevent fraying. Great product bison. I bought one for me and my brother.

Recently used this belt for hiking 70 miles. The buckle never slipped, and the buckle's low profile didn't interfere with the backpack's waist belt. Excellent purchase!
