We've had this vacuum for 4 months now and it's rubbish. Everything worked fine at first, but in the last two months I've changed the belt at least 5 times. Hair accumulates and gets stuck in the chamber where the belt is located, and then the belt burns out. Also, a few pieces of plastic broke off the block - and we didn't use it for anything else. I bought this Bissell ball to replace an orange Dyson ball that died after 6 years. Bought at the end of March. I started using it on April 1st, everything is fine. At the end of June it made a terrible noise and smoke rose from the bushes. The brush is half broken! This vacuum cleaner is fantastic! I was apprehensive about going from a 12 amp vacuum to a 10 amp vacuum. However, Bissell really outdid themselves with this vacuum, lowering the amperage and making a much more powerful vacuum than my 12 amp vacuum.
