Bissell Febreze Upright Post Motor Pleated Review

When ordering, the page asked for my vacuum cleaner model number to ensure this product would fit. I did and he said it would fit. I am using the product and it does NOT fit, it is too small. The packaging itself says it fits the 1330 model standing upright, the packaging is incorrect. What a waste of $15

I used the standard filter that came with my vacuum and used it to see the difference and let me tell you it's a HUGE difference. This filter will remove any strange odors your vacuum cleaner might have after years of use while maintaining a comfortable indoor environment. The filter should last 6 months. A lot for the price in my opinion.

I was a bit skeptical that they would really improve the smell in my apartment just by vacuuming, but it really is! My husband was impressed when he found out it was just a filter in a vacuum cleaner. The filter fitted our model perfectly and was easy to replace. I will definitely be replacing any future filters with these!

The smell of this filter that came out of the box was sickeningly sweet, so much so that I had to take the vacuum to another room. Then again, the musty closet I've put it in now smells great. The smell of the filter dissipated fairly quickly and we didn't notice it after a few weeks of cleaning. I can't say it's worth the extra five bucks over a regular filter, but if you're dealing with stubborn odors it might be worth a try.

This review is to help people figure out where this filter belongs. Thought I'd replace the yellow foam filter on top (I have a Bissell Cleanview 5959A). This is for another filter. I am attaching a photo where I open the compartment where this filter is located. Pulls forward. Push the old filter down and it will fall through the floor. Insert the new filter from below. Voila! Now I need to find and order the yellow foam filter I was planning to buy.

My wife and I will buy it again once ours are all gone. The smell is strong but my wife and I like it so it's a plus for us. I understand that pleasant or unpleasant scents can be very subjective, so bad reviews (albeit few) make sense. If you didn't like the smell then I would understand that it is overwhelming. But we love it and it took a lot longer than we thought.

I have seen several reviews that this filter does not fit the 9595. I have the 9595 and thought the same thing"Not suitable!". But not only on the Amazon website, but also on the product packaging it is clearly mentioned that this filter is suitable for 9595. So I searched for an answer and found it.
