Stopped working after 2.5 months of minimal use; returned.

Stopped working after 2.5 months of minimal use. The free return window was closed so I contacted Revain support. I was able to get a refund for returning the item, but was charged a "restocking fee" of about $5. Now I will buy a manual meat grinder.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Nothing

Worked for six months - never worked so well - then died!

When our old Bosch grinder that we had for over 20 years finally broke, we checked to see if they still make it. They didn't :( So we thought this - it looked good - had good reviews and a competitive price, unfortunately it was a flop. It lasted six months, never worked that well and then died completely.

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • Empty

Keep looking for grinders

I know knife sharpeners will never sharpen as evenly as burr sharpeners, but this isn't my first knife sharpener and it sharpens very unevenly. Coffee tends to fall out from under the lid during grinding. Not much, but enough to annoy. Coffee collects between the metal bowl and the plastic walls and is difficult to remove. The metal shell is not removable. The grinder works, but it works poorly. But you get what you paid for.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Almost OK
