My son enjoys watching me build something and as you can imagine it's not very useful. This little toy is perfect for him. It helps him to engage with real instruments while I work. This also gives it an application in real life. It is also consistently of excellent quality.

My 3 year old son loves it although I think he has yet to grow up to fully understand how nuts and bolts work and how to tap. But it's a great little set and I'm very happy with it. There were others on Revain, but this one had the best combination of bolt types and was reasonably priced.

In this case this product works for a 3 year old child who does NOT have the ability to coordinate anything with this device, they CAN, they just decide which part to use and uses him, after several tries he gets it! A gift from his grandfather, a mechanical engineer. over 49 years old.

I bought this for my 3 year old. I liked this idea as he loves instruments and such (we have a number of plastic fonts that he plays with). I think it's a great educational toy, but it definitely needs to be taken care of while playing with it. As the tools are real he already put a screwdriver in the plastic stool we had which destroyed it and tried to put the screwdriver in his mouth. So overall great but with care.

I really wanted to love this toy :-( One of the screws is completely wrong and too small, it won't even screw in it just falls through. Gone is a huge disappointment The head of the other screw is deformed and looks cheap The wood is really strong and durable I thought it was for holding the screws but they don't fit in. I'll probably try to trade them in and see if I can get one with the screws that fit and don't warp.
