INCLUDES TWO CABLES FOR EXTRA SECURITY AND CONVENIENCE – Comes with two plastic sheathed steel cables. These cables are 47 inches long or just a touch under four feet in length. The diameter of the cable is 5mm or .2 inches. This diameter is large enough to provide ample security without being too large for convenience. Cables are a great way to secure your bags to hotel furniture, buses or seats in an airport. THE MOST SECURE TSA PADLOCK ON THE MARKET: Forge luggage locks use an advanced dimple key and hardened steel tumbler system. Most luggage locks use old-style single bitted keys which are vulnerable to lock picking and freezing up at the worst possible times. Rest easy knowing that your Forge lock is tamper proof and perfectly reliable. KEYED ALIKE TO LIGHTEN YOUR KEYRING: Every lock in the package will work with every key included. You only need to keep a single key on your person, the other keys included can be kept in a safe place or given to a family member or friend. ALWAYS RELOCKED, ALWAYS PROTECTED. Most TSA locks on the market do not need to be re-locked by a TSA agent after their inspection is completed. With our TSA luggage lock, the agent has to re-lock your suitcase to remove their key. With Forge you never worry about your suitcase locks being left open again. MOST DURABLE TSA RECOGNIZED AND ACCEPTED LOCK. Forge locks are designed from the ground up to be the toughest luggage locks around. Our special alloy lock bodies, hardened steel shackles and patented internal mechanisms can take such a pounding that we back our product up with an unconditional lifetime guarantee. If you can find a way to break these locks, we’ll gladly refund or replace them.

I was on a recent trip/holiday and needed good locks. I bought these TSA approved travel luggage locks from Forge/Travel Sentry and I'm glad I did. It survived the toss which I personally witnessed my luggage go through. The man tried not to let me see, but I did. I recommend these locks because they are really very strong, just like they said.

Couldn't handle TSA

I have used a couple of these locks to secure my tool full Pelican 1520 which is frequently opened and inspected by TSA. I liked them because the shackle was small enough that they wouldn't let the lid lift too much if the TSA didn't properly secure my suitcase when I closed it (which they often do). I also like that they are the same. As you can see from the attached photos, on one trip they left baggage claim in pieces, the brackets bent and the suitcases separated. Well, while they…

Decent lock but no need to insert a key to lock it again.

The locks were strong and easy to use. My problem was that the key doesn't need to be set to re-lock. TSA might need a key in the lock to relock it, but I don't need it. I actually had to cut the locks with bolt cutters because my kid accidentally dropped the keys in the suitcase before locking it and both keys ended up on the same ring at that point. I think I should be glad we finished packing and I could wait until I got home before undoing the locks. I like that I have a different style of…

One key that works on multiple locks is extremely handy

These locks work well and having multiple copies of a single key that opens all the locks on my and my wife's various pieces of luggage was great a great convenience. Each of us could carry just one key and be a backup for each other in case of loss, and we could also add extra copies in different locations. I bought two packs and as the answers from other reviewers showed, both packs worked with the same key. I wouldn't worry about it being unsafe. If someone has one of the key choices for…

As good or better than any other TSA lock

I don't know what's stopping anyone from building a solid strong lock that the TSA can pick but won't dismantle with an 18 inch rod can be broken with a 12" bolt cutter or cut in 3 seconds with a 4" grinder. But I have used TSA approved travel locks from Master Lock, Brinks, Lewis and Clark, SwissGear and others. I used a Pelican Air 1615 for a suitcase last year, and having such a large hard case with hard sides probably has something to do with how easily they break. I often look in my double
