Leaks. Poorly. It worked great for the first week so I threw the box away thinking I'd found a winner. But then it started leaking all over the place when not in use. It doesn't run onto my clothes during use which is a plus. If you have a steamer that doesn't leak, I can tell you the steamer does its job - it's an OTAP, not an iron. It will not put any pressure on your clothes.

As far as steamships are concerned, I think that's fine. But if you think it would be easier than ironing a cotton or linen shirt, think again. As you can see in my before and after photos, even after 10 minutes of steaming, cotton and linen shirts still don't look wrinkle-free. Perfect ironing only takes a few minutes and most hotels have an iron so I don't see why you would travel with it. But it works well with thin fabrics like a vintage silk scarf. I ordered this in February to replace a broken one but until recently it was not possible to use it. I took it out of the box and it doesn't work. It heats up but when you press the button it just clicks, no steam comes out. I've contacted Black & Decker hoping for a solution as they say they have a warranty but I'm not very hopeful.
