My 20 year old Chihuahua's favorite food is fillet wet food. Because she has very few teeth, she has difficulty eating. I bought this machine to process food into pies. In the few days I've had this machine, it's worked great for that. It's the perfect size and strong enough for my use. It's easy to clean and durable enough for my use. Can't comment on longevity as I've only had it for a few days. For me it was a good buy.

I had a previous model that worked great, but this one is even better. It's much quieter, the blades are sharper and easier to use. Keep in mind that nothing else snaps, which basically means the mug snaps into place and the lid just sits on top. This makes it easier to use as you no longer have to fiddle around to get everything right. Received this yesterday and it arrived just in time as I wanted to make bolognese sauce. At first I kind of overloaded the processor, but once I minimized what I put in there, everything was perfect! This is a helicopter with a rather dangerous design. I've had many in the past and this is the first one I recall that did NOT have a locking mechanism that locks the lid while the blade is spinning. First use was chopping pecans, which I do at least once a week. When I released the pressure point on the lid to stop the blade's action, a couple of pecans hit the lid, they flew away and the blade kept turning until the motor stalled on its own, ejecting pecans. I was hoping that this grinder would solve our grinder problem but I was disappointed. It appears to be well built, but the food is either NOT UNIFORMLY cut at all (think big chunks being mixed into the mush) or the whole thing is liquified into a mush! Whatever veggies you choose to chop, make sure your veggies fit easily in a clear plastic container, cover with a lid and test by pressing the lid once or twice to see how fine you want to hack. It's also great for making salsa. The harder you press the lid, the softer your veggies will be.
