I've seen some mediocre reviews but I'm very pleased. Still long battery life. Remember to charge it fully and only plug it back in when it runs out of power. L-ion batteries are a whole different beast. Don't leave it on all the time. Many of my previous nickel cadmium dust collectors had to be charged constantly as they got older and then only worked for a few minutes before they ran out of power. So far so good with this new one!

This little vacuum has good suction power. Attractive in appearance. Can be hung on the wall with the included hanger and mounting hardware. I haven't used it for long trips - it's my choice for small pickups and car interiors, so I'm still paying for it. Cleaning? Slightly trickier as dirt/lint gets stuck in the filter cone and needs a light brushing to remove most of it. Then wash the filter with mild soap under running water. I bought a Black & Decker vacuum because it CLEANS GREAT with all the "mess" of life in the home and car. I got one for my son and use it at home a lot so I figured it was time for ME! It's so light and charges quickly. It's easy to deflate and doesn't require pulling on cords for small or medium spills. My shoulders don't get tired or sore from using this big vacuum cleaner. I BELIEVE with this equipment in my house. You will not regret this purchase.

I bought this unit to replace the old B&D Dustbuster. I've been looking for one that can be wall mounted and this is it. The charger is NOT built into the wall bracket! It's a shame I didn't investigate further, but it annoys me to no end that the charger isn't integrated. Otherwise it's a good device, good suction, worked for 2 to 3 minutes with no loss of power. I have 4 of these, one on each floor of my house. I recently replaced the oldest one because the battery life has dropped to 0 after about 2 years of normal use. I thought I would just put one on each floor so I then bought 3 more instead of running out of power after cleaning 2 floors before needing another charge. I bought a BLACK+DECKER HHVI325JR22 to replace an earlier version (without the lithium-ion battery) of the same vacuum cleaner substitute.
