It's so easy to open jars with just the push of a button. I had another model but it never worked that well and eventually broke. This one is perfect and works really well and is also a bit more compact than my previous model.

I bought this for my mother who is an elderly woman with very weak arm strength. She has owned two previous models in the past. This model adapts to different sized cans more easily than the old model and so far has done a good job of opening a variety of can sizes. Hope it lasts long with no problems.
